Um zu vermeiden, dass ein Nutzer des Funkkopfhörers versehentlich nicht aufladbare Standardbatterien einlegt und versucht diese zu laden, haben wir die Batteriefächer mit 3 Kontakten ausgestattet, die mitgelieferten Akkus sind leicht modifiziert. Um neue / andere Akkus im Funkkopfhörer zu verwenden, müssen Sie diese ebenfalls modifizieren. Schneiden Sie den Schrumpfschlauch der den Akku umhüllt auf der Seite des Minuspols auf einer Länge von etwa einem Zentimeter ab und entfernen Sie diesen. Nun ist an dieser Stelle die Metallhülse des Akkus sichtbar. Legen Sie die so modifizierten Akkus in den Kopfhörer ein, diese können nun geladen werden.
